Plan, organize, and lead implementations in accordance with established processes to include, but not limited to: (1) Preparing Cost Benefit and Feasibility Analysis for prospective projects, (2) Preparing and issuing Project / Implementation Plans to include scope, budget, staffing, schedules, risks and risk mitigation, (3) Preparation and issuance of Change Proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs), (4) Preparation of Purchase Requisitions, (5) Conduct technical evaluation of vendor proposals, (6) Coordinating the receipt, review and acceptance of vendor deliverables, (7) Coordinate and lead the accomplishment of project/implementation activities with other organizations, (8) Identify, coordinate, status and close control milestones and schedules, and (9) Prepare variance reports. Leads projects to achieve key business objectives and coordinates the work of the project team for projects in the Data Systems organization. Utilizes sound project management principles and PMI best practices. Actively monitors and updates DS Project Portfolio. Develops and maintains the DS project budget. Develops and Maintains the Information Systems Long Range Plan.
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field and 5 years experience in analysis, design, implementation and documentation of software or network systems and projects. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written. EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF EDUCATION: HS diploma and 10 years of Information Systems/Technology project management experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Project Management Professional certification desired (not required)
