About the Role:
Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the Site Lead for a high-tech semiconductor project. Acting as a consultant to the client, you’ll oversee MEP systems, tool installation, and cost management across the full project lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager looking to step into a lead role. The position requires strong U.S. cost experience and the ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive successful project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
•Oversee all commercial related activities, ensuring alignment with client goals, schedules, and budgets
•Lead on-site project execution
•Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical and logistical challenges
•Conduct field walks, lead progress meetings, and monitor construction performance against milestones
•Manage procurement, contract administration, and change order processes efficiently
•Interpret construction drawings and design documents to guide project delivery
•Maintain compliance with permitting, safety, and regulatory requirements
•Deliver regular status updates and reports to senior management and client stakeholders
•Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all site activities meet quality standards
Job Requirements:
•Proven track record in managing MEP, tool install, and cleanroom projects in a high-tech environment
•Strong background in cost control, quantity surveying, and U.S. construction pricing practices
•Familiarity with American construction contracts, procurement strategies, and commercial terms
•Skilled in project and cost management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Excel)
•Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
•Ability to analyze technical documentation for constructability and cost implications
•Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to work full-time on-site
Education & Certification
•Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field
•8-12 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3-5 years in the semiconductor or advanced technology sector
