National Grid Ventures is hiring a Lead Program Manager for our Asset Development Department. The role can be located in our Melville, NY, Brooklyn, NY, Waltham, MA, or Boston, MA office.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Lead Program Manager will support development of onshore and/or offshore transmission project components which are both organic to NGV and within Joint Venture organizations. Responsibilities include operating in a heavily matrixed environment ensuring close collaboration and support from supporting organizations (i.e. Transmission, Permitting, Routing, Commercial, Construction, Community, Government Relations, etc.). The role will be responsible to plan, organize and lead tasks that feed into higher level goals to support accomplishment of project milestones associated with Project scope, schedule, & budget task delivery. The successful candidate will also interface with the workstreams throughout multiple project organizations to ensure oversight and support successful development, project management and ultimately construction of project components. The Program Manager will provide guidance to leaders in the various organizations, review milestones & reporting processes, manage and escalate risks, and provide analytical + administrative support with a focus on effective and efficient data analysis for decision making purposes. The individual will act as a liaison with all key stakeholders back to the Development team to improve and evolve National Grid’s on/offshore development projects.
