Do you enjoy reading about distributed energy, load management, and utility rate design? Do you understand how utilities use batteries for their energy storage or solar programs, or why locational demand response (DR) is important? Do you have experience helping utilities develop a portfolio of programs for energy efficiency, DR, or building electrification? Are you passionate about helping utilities prepare for the load growth we expect over the next decade and achieve their decarbonization goals? Do you have a passion for making complex data and analysis actionable and clear?

We’re seeking a senior- or lead-level research analyst with interest and experience in distributed energy, energy storage programs, energy efficiency, demand response, and customer-side energy technologies to join our Customer Energy Solutions research and advisory team. You’ll provide actionable, data-driven advice to our utility clients, focusing on distributed energy, load management, energy efficiency, and energy storage. If you have knowledge of or experience in the utility industry, a passion for distributed energy and load management, and excellent analytical and communication skills, we’d love to talk with you!

Benefits

The budgeted salary for this position is $70,000–$110,000 + annual bonus up to 8%. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

This person can work 100% remote, but preference will be given for a hybrid schedule from of our physical office located in Boulder, Colorado.
