We’re looking for a high-caliber finance athlete to own and drive our FP&A function. This is not a back-office role—it’s an opportunity to partner directly with executives, shape the financial strategy of a fast-growing technology company, and build the FP&A muscle from scratch.
If you’ve spent a few years in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting and want to move beyond being “the modeler” to owning real business impact, this role is for you. You’ll combine sharp analytics, strong business judgment, and a curiosity for AI-powered tools to redefine what modern FP&A looks like.
- Own the Corporate Model → Build and run the full company model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and turn it into the single source of truth for leadership.
- Drive Forecasting → Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts; deliver variance analysis and scenarios that leadership can act on.
- Shape Pricing & Unit Economics → Build pricing, margin, and unit economics models that guide product and go-to-market decisions.
- Manage Liquidity → Forecast cash flow, working capital, and funding needs to support growth and strategic moves.
- Be the Strategy Partner → Run analysis for capital raises, M&A, partnerships, and board-level initiatives.
- Build Reporting Muscle → Create lightweight, scalable SOPs for reporting—clean, automated, insightful.
- Leverage AI Tools → Deploy and experiment with AI-enabled FP&A software to automate workflows, supercharge modeling, and generate insights faster.
- Cross-Functional Impact → Work hand-in-hand with sales, ops, and product teams to make finance the engine behind smart decision-making.
- 1–4 years in investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, or consulting with deep exposure to modeling and analytics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling chops—comfortable building complex, dynamic models from a blank tab.
- Strong analytical skills paired with business judgment; you can move from numbers to narrative fast.
- Familiarity with—or curiosity for—AI-driven FP&A software (Datarails, Anaplan, Limelight, etc.) and a drive to make yourself more productive with tools.
- Excellent communicator—you simplify complexity and make insights clear for executives and non-finance peers.
- Startup mindset: resourceful, independent, and energized by owning big responsibilities early in your career.
- You’ll own FP&A end-to-end with a direct line to the CFO and leadership team.
- Huge growth runway—learn more in two years here than five anywhere else.
- Be a pioneer in AI-driven finance, bringing next-gen productivity into the function.
- Work in a high-impact, mission-driven technology company where your insights shape strategy, not just spreadsheets.
