Lead Cabinetry Designer

Qualifications

· This is a fast-paced creative position that requires an individual with strong initiative, professionalism, and excellent multi-tasking/prioritizing abilities

· 5+ years experience in custom millwork design and project management

· Full knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

· Must be able to begin work at 8am, overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed

· Strong design/creative skills

· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

· Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing deadlines and project details

· Professionalism and discretion through all communications

· Confidence to lead projects through to completion

· Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage multiple custom kitchen/millwork projects simultaneously

· Manage project deadlines and prioritize tasks based on deadlines

· Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and sister construction company

· Prepare samples, drawings, and other materials in lieu of project meetings

· Attend and help lead design meetings with clientele – advise clients with creative design input regarding layout, finishes, hardware, appliances, etc

· Place purchase orders for hardware/materials – track orders

· Attend site meetings, perform site measures and field surveys as needed

· Order samples for projects and track production of samples through to completion

· Send out samples/drawings to clients as requested

· Draft custom kitchens and other architectural millwork in both 2D and 3D space with AutoCAD and other software, preference given towards individuals who have hand drafting capabilities

· Perform some estimation/change orders as needed

· Miscellaneous administrative/project-related paperwork

Bucks County Cabinetry Design is a custom woodworking firm specializing in kitchens, baths, closets and all other residential millwork design and manufacturing. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager/Designer to join our team. This is a fast-paced creative position that requires an individual with strong initiative, professionalism, and excellent multi-tasking/prioritizing abilities.
