We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating lasers, turrets and brake presses ensuring high-quality fabrication of materials with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to work with precision tools.
Responsibilities
•Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
•Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Fabricate components using various tools
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
•Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
Education, Skills and Experience
•High School graduate or equivalent.
•Min 2 years programming lasers for sheet metal fabrication.
•Proven experience as a Laser Programmer/Operator.
•Strong mathematical skills.
•Able to communicate effectively both oral/written.
•Ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T including ability to write, edit and troubleshoot programs and machine issues.
•Excellent multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, critical thinking, and work with minimal Supervision.
•Ability to work overtime when necessary.
