As a Landman III, you will handle land assignments of a broad scope and moderate complexity. You will carry out most land projects independently, coordinating the acquisition of oil and gas leases and title work with precision. You will assist in training lower-level Landmen and directing small projects, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads the analysis, interpretation, and preparation of oil and gas leases and related contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards
- Oversees the review and resolution of title requirements in drilling and division order title opinions, providing detailed analysis and recommendations
- Manages coordination with lease brokers and actively contribute to land acquisition efforts for exploration and development projects
- Monitors prospect budgets and expenditures, and take responsibility for calculating working interests and net revenue interests
- Negotiates and drafts industry agreements, including joint operating agreements, participation agreements, farm-in/farm-out agreements, and purchase and sale agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepares and executes supporting legal documents for asset transactions and joint ventures, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to legal standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Business, or Finance and four (4) years of related land experience
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Land Management, Business, or Finance and five (5) years of related land experience
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks in a dynamic work environment
