Summary:
Job Responsibilities Summary:•Acquire and obtain access/lease, steward, monetize and/or divest surface and/or subsurface rights to deliver/protect value and mitigate risk across the asset life cycle, and provide expert advice on best practices and strategic cross-functional and complex opportunities
•Develop, negotiate and execute new commercial agreements (e.g., leases and right-of-way), obtaining all functional alignment, as required
•Analyze, manage and steward contracts, as needed (e.g., acreage and risk management, and compliance).
•Develop, prioritize and recommend commercial concepts/structures for the acquisition and/or monetization of a business opportunity for new and existing assets.
•Acquire, trade, monetize or divest asset rights to deliver value.
•Manage and sustain external relationships relevant to own portfolio (e.g., government officials, landowners, service providers and partners)
•Provide guidance to support development and execution of business strategies/plans
•Negotiate and manage claim/dispute mitigation and resolution
•Coordinate and/or determine land ownership, evaluate risks, and cure title defects
•Manage and coordinate contract personnel (field & in-house)
•Provide litigation support
Qualifications:
•Knowledge and experience with title, courthouse, alignment sheets, easement and acquisition documents.
•Proficient in commercial negotiation, influence, internal and external relationship management
•Mineral and surface land experience preferred
