Lamination Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Responsible for post laminating case work, additional and custom items. Learns to properly attach HPL & veneer to wood products and structures.
Work Hours:
Average of 50 hours per week and weekends may be required. Ability to work overtime. Start time 6:00 am; finish time 4:00 pm (subject to change based on job need).
Essential functions:
•Safely and correct work lamination machine
•Maintain inventory for all laminate and supplies
•Apply laminate to case work, additional and custom items without bubbles or rough edges
•Ability to contribute their best to producing an exceptional product
•Perform job in cost-effective manner
•Have a positive attitude toward personal, department, and company goals
•Treat fellow team members and customers with respect and professionalism
•Always perform job safely including wearing safety glasses and ask for help with lifting
•Keep an open line of communication
•Be on time and present for work daily
•Take responsibility for getting the work done
•Willing to share in any overtime
•Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
•This job operates in a professional office environment. This routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines.
•While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Required education and experience:
•High School Degree or GED
•Math skills such as adding and subtracting, multiplication and division
•Previous experience in building and/or lamination is preferred
•High attention to detail
•Demonstrates mastery in using the following tools: tape measure, combination square, table saw, portable power miter saw, sliding table saw, radial arm saw, saber saw, portable router, screw pocket machine and pneumatic nailer
•Clean and neat appearance
•Basic communication skills
