Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining pipelines for various utilities, including water, gas, and oil. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. The Pipelayer will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, and oil systems.

- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and forklifts to dig trenches and position pipes.

- Ensure that pipelines are plumb and properly aligned using tools like pipe lasers.

- Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline installations.

- Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and execute plans effectively.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction roles.

- Strong skills in heavy equipment operation, particularly backhoe operation and forklift use.

- Ability to dig trenches accurately while adhering to safety standards.

- Familiarity with pipeline installation techniques for various utilities (water, gas, oil).

- Experience with concrete finishing is a plus.

- Knowledge of using tools such as pipe lasers for precise measurements.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
