About This Job
Job Overview
We are hiring immediately for a dependable and skilled Pipe Welder to join our team in Casper, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and stick welding (SMAW). Candidates must be proficient in stick welding and will be required to pass a stick weld test.
This is a shop-only position — no field or on-site work. We need someone who is available to start immediately and is ready to contribute to a hardworking, high-quality team.
Responsibilities
•
Perform pipe welding using Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Stick Welding (SMAW)
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
•
Fabricate, fit, and weld pipe systems to meet job specifications
•
Operate power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area
•
Follow all safety protocols and welding codes
•
Inspect welded joints for accuracy and quality
•
Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements
•
Must be located in or willing to work in Casper, Wyoming
•
Advanced welding experience, including proficiency in stick welding
•
Must pass a stick weld test
•
Must pass a drug test and physical
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
•
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential
•
We will train the right candidate to weld pipe if they already have strong welding experience
•
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shop environment
•
Must be available to start immediately
Schedule & Benefits
•
All work is performed in-shop in Casper—no travel or field work
•
At least 50 hours per week (Monday–Friday, weekends off unless needed)
•
Paid time off after 1 year of employment
