Must be available to work occasional holidays, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
Under broad guidance, the Lab Technician is responsible for performing a variety of chemical, biological, and physical analyses on environmental samples, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting HRSD operations and programs. The role involves producing high-quality, legally defensible results in a cost-effective and safe manner, as well as reporting and validating analytical data. Lab Technicians will participate in the CEL’s Laboratory Training Program and provide training to other staff members on analytical methods and QA protocols.
Education Required* Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related science as approved.
Desired* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related science as approved.
Licenses and Certifications Requirements* Valid driver’s license from state of residence
