General Description:

The laborer position is responsible for performing general labor work along with assisting craftsmen in performing their tasks. Laborers must apply sound judgement and understanding when carrying out detailed or uninvolved written and/or oral instructions. Must have the ability to analyze and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have the ability to read and interpret safety manuals and warning signs, drawings, specifications, rigging diagrams and lifting capacity charts for equipment and load carrying parts. Must display capable oral communication skills and have the ability to provide and receive oral safety warnings, instructions and task assignments. This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development

- Ensure a safe work environment.

- Participate in CCI's STEPBACK safety program and stay compliant with online training modules in Virtual Training Assistant (VTA/EHS). Review and comply with the various Client's safety programs.

- Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.

- Assist in cleaning, organizing materials, and day-to-day facility operations.

- Assist in loading and unloading of material and equipment for mobilization. Knowledge of load securement practices.

- Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED is required.

- A current Cook Inlet Training Standard (CITS) health & safety card, an OSHA 10 hour, OR 24-hour Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training is required.

- A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.

- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.

- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.

- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.

- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
