Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Production Engineer to join our growing team. This role supports production activities, optimizes workflows, and ensures our quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in manufacturing, exposure to fabrication processes, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing daily production activities.

- Monitor and analyze production performance, downtime, and efficiency metrics.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the production floor.

- Participate in process improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, and lean manufacturing efforts.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, and design.

- Prepare and maintain production documentation and reports.

- Support new product trials and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Assist in training operators on new processes and best practices.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

- 2–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

- Experience with plastic and/or steel fabrication processes preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

- Basic knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing.

- Proficiency in MS Office; SolidWorks familiarity is an asset.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
