Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Piping Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design and drafting of piping systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design software and a passion for developing innovative solutions in piping design.

Duties

•

Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to create detailed piping layouts and schematics.

•

Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to draft and assemble piping systems.

•

Develop 2D animations and visual representations of piping designs for project presentations.

•

Review project specifications and requirements to ensure accuracy in designs.

•

Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including drawings and reports.

•

Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

•

Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Experience

•

Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Bluebeam is preferred.

•

Familiarity with creating schematics and drafting techniques is essential.

•

Previous experience or internships in piping design or related fields is a plus.

•

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to effectively troubleshoot design issues.

•

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
