We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to lead an electrical team on commercial and industrial solar installations across Arizona. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical systems, a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and proven experience installing, wiring, and commissioning electrical equipment on active job sites. Experience in solar installation is highly preferred.
This role combines hands-on electrical work with team leadership, requiring someone who can supervise and mentor apprentice electricians while performing complex electrical tasks. You will be responsible for training your team, delegating work assignments, ensuring quality workmanship, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with other trades and subcontractors on-site. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting electrical issues, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and ensuring all work complies with NEC standards and project requirements.

- Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including low-voltage and solar components.
- Read, interpret, and enforce blueprints, drawings, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Work closely with the site supervisor to plan ahead, anticipate issues, and deliver quality work on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate job-site documentation, track progress, and identify potential risks or challenges.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Arizona preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects; solar installation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience overseeing on-site projects
- Knowledge of NEC, electrical safety practices
- Proven leadership ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team while driving results.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with project teams.
- Comfortable working on active construction sites, with strong attention to safety and detail.
