Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on construction sites, Correctional facilities and interpreting blueprints. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems in various settings. You must have at least 4-5 years professional electrical experience.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•

Work on both high voltage and low voltage systems as required by project specifications.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role within the construction industry for at least 4-5 years.

•

Proficiency in reading blueprints related to electrical installations.

•

Familiarity with voltmeters, ohmmeters, power tools, and other essential equipment used in electrical work.

•

Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems is preferred.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

•

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on the job site.

•

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

We have a contract with the BOP installing security camera systems and are looking to build more crews to take on more work. We install raceways from the switch to the camera locations and terminate each end with RJ45 heads on the Cat6 wire. Some plug directly into the switch and other require a punch down block. You will work in 2-4 man crews.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
