About This Job

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician with 4+ years of electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and installations and be proficient in reading schematics and be able to install applicable electrical systems in a craftsman-like manner. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

•

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.

•

Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently, including frame carpentry tasks as needed.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.

•

Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as required.

•

Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

•

(not required but encouraged) Journeyperson Electrician certification in Nevada or any other US state

•

4+ years of electrical field experience

•

Proficiency in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.

•

Strong understanding of schematics and ability.

•

Experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

•

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.00 - $48.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
