Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both industrial and commercial settings.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste removal, and vacuuming in assigned areas.

- Conduct industrial cleaning operations to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

- Provide custodial services that include restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.

- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition, performing minor repairs when necessary.

Requirements

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.

- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
