IT Systems Engineer

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Backup and Restore Management: Ensure reliable backup and restore processes for the Windows platform.

• Incident Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues during incidents and outages swiftly and effectively.

• Escalated Service Ticket Remediation: Handle and remediate escalated service tickets in a timely manner.

• Alert Monitoring: Monitor system alerts and take appropriate action to remediate issues.

• System Integration: Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and troubleshooting of systems integration.

• Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support with a proven track record of positive outcomes.

• Cloud Computing Systems: Evaluate and implement modifications to cloud computing systems to meet long-term business objectives and current organizational requirements.

• Team Leadership: Facilitate and lead multi-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and resolution of complex issues.

• New Technology Implementation: Plan and implement new technologies and major releases for critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects.

• Business Requirements Understanding: Learn and understand business functions and requirements to determine the appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements

• Windows Administration experience with hands-on experience in Azure administration.

• Entra and on prem Active Directory Administration experience.

• Office 365 Administrative experience.

• Experience with Windows Server 2008R2 and above.

• Experience in client administration.

• Experience in PowerShell scripting (added advantage).

• Experience using ITSM tools.

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate or BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• 5-7 years of related IT experience

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

• Consists of sedentary work. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

• Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.

• Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures or viewing a computer screen.

This position will require occasional travel with the US to field and office locations as needed. Systems Engineer
