POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Operations Manager will oversee the stability, security, and scalability of Beusa Energy’s IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises systems, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support. This role is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals while aligning technology initiatives with business goals across corporate and field operations. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, enterprise networking, and IT compliance, with the ability to balance hands-on technical leadership and strategic planning. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, vendor management expertise, and a commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and business-driven technology solutions in a fast-paced energy environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Oversee daily IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support, ensuring stability and reliability across the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and enterprise networking environments to support business needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and internal IT policies, including data protection and disaster recovery protocols.
- Partner with business leaders to align IT initiatives with company objectives, supporting both corporate and field operations.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement to ensure cost-effective and scalable solutions.
- Drive implementation of new technologies and system upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and security.
- Lead IT project planning and execution, including infrastructure improvements, system migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Act as the primary escalation point for IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Is proficiency in the spoken English language needed? If so, please add “Proficiency in spoken English language*” (see below asterisk).- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server).
- Strong background in IT operations within industrial, energy, or similarly complex environments preferred.
- Expertise in network administration, systems architecture, cloud solutions, and endpoint management.
- Proficiency with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and IT procurement.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., SOX, NIST, GDPR, or industry-specific security requirements).
- Strong people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into business terms.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to align IT strategy with business goals.
- Proven ability to manage IT budgets, forecast expenditures, and optimize cost efficiencies.
- Availability for on-call support and flexibility to manage IT issues outside standard business hours.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and implement effective solutions.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel. The IT Operations Manager works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The IT Operations Manager may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the IT Operations Manager must be able to lift 25lbs.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination, depending on job demands.
