- Be primary support for Prophet 21 system.
- Training other users on how to use the Prophet 21 system.
- Ability to use Prophet 21 to improve efficiency and expand the user experience.
- Log cases with Epicor Support for end user reported bugs or issues with Prophet 21 software.
- Assist with testing Prophet 21 upgrades and enhancements.
- Document business processes/new features and train end users.
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned and process first-in first-out based on priority.
- Collaborate with department heads (e.g., Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) to understand and document current state business processes.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders at all levels.
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.
- Assist with onboarding of new users.
- Conduct independent research, interpret highly technical documents, draw valid conclusions, develop technological solutions, take appropriate actions and/or make appropriate recommendations related to complex IT problems.
- Conduct business analysis and recommend technology solutions or business strategies.
- Design and help implement solutions within M365, such as building SharePoint sites for document management, creating Teams workflows, or specifying Power Automate flows to connect systems.
- Collaborate with the development team to specify and validate reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Four (4) years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft 365 suite as a business productivity and collaboration platform (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Proven ability in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and creating functional specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build consensus with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Epicor Prophet 21 software
- Experience with supporting Prophet 21 software.
- Familiarity with logging cases with Epicor Prophet 21 Support.
- 3+ years of Prophet 21 experience.- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to build reports and simple automations.
