The primary role consists of maintenance of reverse osmosis seawater desalination (SWRO) equipment in Sint Maarten.,. As an Island Manager, principal responsibility is to ensure the efficient operations of reverse osmosis water treatment plant(s). Incumbent must also be able to work cross-functionally with Engineering/Project Management, and Field Services when modifications or repairs are made to the plant(s). Direct leadership/management of local Operations staff, including both SSW employees and indirect operation/maintenance teams, to maximize plant uptime, maintain budget, drive efficiency, and maintain a safe work environment. An additional vital component of this role is to serve as the local ambassador for the company. Detailed duties, responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.
