Are you a self-starter, motivated, hard worker who's mechanically inclined and enjoys to build things?
Warren Welding is looking to fill a full time, hopefully long-term, addition to our team as a lead fabricator and welder. We fabricate and install steel railings and architectural components for residence and commercial properties. We also manufacture and install red iron and perform site welding services. We do not do sheet metal work nor tig welding.
We are a small shop with a team atmosphere where every day is a little different; we are not a typical production shop. Our shop is located in Marysville but do most of our field work in the Seattle/Eastside area.
For this position work would consist of shop fabrication and site installation.
-physically fit to be able to handle field install or site welding
-live near or have no problem commuting to Marysville
-know how to follow direction but not need it; ability to work independently
-some work experience with related field so this wouldn’t be the first setting for this type of work, and needs to be outside of schooling
(Please specifically mention these and how much experience you may have)
-mechanically inclined and ability to do basic work on equipment and vehicles
-2 plus years in general construction trade; know basic tools, site safety and how to follow direction
-experience on scissor lift, telescoping boom lifts, forklift, reach forklift, driving pickups and towing trailers
-General framing or construction experience in residential and commercial
-general fabrication skills; grinder, tape measure, fabrication techniques and know how to figure out what parts are needed and put them together to get an end part (like following a receipt)
