DEPARTMENT: Transmission Sub & Relay

STARTING SALARY: $18.00-$20.00/hr.

EDUCATION:

•

Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate college student (12 hours or more) or a full-time graduate college student (9 hours or more) in a 4-year college/university.

•

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Science.

•

Maintain full-time undergraduate or graduate enrollment throughout the duration of the internship.

•

Classified as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.

•

Maintain an overall GPA at a minimum of 3.0/4.0 or above.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

•

Experience in AutoCAD preferred.

•

Ability to operate a personal computer and software such as Excel, Word, and Project.

•

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

•

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the general public.

•

Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

•

Assist with the design and engineering for different TSR facilities.

•

Review with TSR Engineer(s) any material or equipment relevant to the projects.

•

Provide support to the team of engineers with material procurement and to update the equipment specifications.

•

Meet required deadlines for small projects that are assigned by the TSR Engineer.

•

Assist in the development of processes and procedures for the TSR Group.

•

Accompany the Engineers to oversee the construction aspects of the capital project.

•

Valid driver’s license and be in compliance with the Company’s Driving Program policy.

•

Complies with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations to include employment, safety and environmental standards and regulations.

•

Perform other related tasks that are not included but are within the context of the duties defined.
