Job description
Orano Canada is a leading producer of uranium in Canada, working to power the future with clean energy! Our McClean Lake mill is the most technologically-advanced mill in the world for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. As a member of the Mill Maintenance team, your skills will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our operations. Responsibilities include:
•Must be able to specify, install, program, troubleshoot, de-bug and repair mill process measurement / control instrumentation
•Must be able to produce and / or update documentation related to the above as required
•Must have strong communication skills, with an ability to clearly communicate directly to other departments and department personnel
•Should show initiative in improving or suggesting ways of improving the methods and strategies used to measure and control the mill processes
•Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture

Ideal qualifications
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
•Instrumentation Engineering Technology diploma
•Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician certificate or Industrial Maintenance experience are assets
•Solid working knowledge of DCS systems, PLC’s, SMART field devices, Windows based application
software
•Fisher- Rosemount, Device Net, Modicon PLC experience or training preferred
•Delta V Implementation 1 and 2 is an asset
•Delta V Virtualization is an asset
•Experience with SAP is an asset
•Strong troubleshooting abilities
•Willingness and ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team
•Must have a positive working relationship with supervisors and fellow staff
•Must be willing to work day / night shift work
Work Location & Schedule:
•14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
•Travel day may change depending on operational needs
