Connect Energy Services is currently seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our team. This is a full time position with competitive wages, clothing allowance and benefit plan. Expected duties: install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation equipment on new or existing sites; troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and control equipment; consult manufacturers' guidelines to determine test and maintenance procedures; use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operations and to diagnose any faults; consult with and advise process operators; repair, maintain and adjust system components, remove and replace defective parts; calibrate and maintain components and instruments as per manufacturers specs; while ensuring Connect's policies / procedures are followed. May be some travel / out of town work.
Must live within commuting distance of Redwater. May be required to provide evidence of a satisfactory A&D test in accordance with Connect Energy Services A&D Policy.
Requirements: Journeyman Instrumentation Certification; previous small oilfield maintenance experience is a must; experience working and executing maintenance in a live plant; CSTC 09 or 2020 Certification, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid; other safety tickets / orientations will be required; a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
