Golden Vertex Corp is a mining company based in Bullhead City, AZ, specializing in gold extraction. Golden Vertex was recently acquired by new ownership and is under new management. The Company operates the Moss Mine located in Mohave County in northwestern Arizona, approximately a one hour and a half drive south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Golden Vertex Corp is currently seeking a qualified person for the position of I & E Technician for our Moss Mine project.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the mine site. This role is critical to maintaining and troubleshooting equipment used in processing, mining, and plant operations to ensure maximum safety, efficiency, and uptime.

Essential Job Duties:

•

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and instrumentation including PLCs, motors, VFDs, sensors, and control panels

•

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems

•

Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation related to process control (e.g., flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors)

•

Ensure compliance with all MSHA, NEC, and site safety standards

•

Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings

•

Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support plant and field operations

•

Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration records

Skills

•

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or mining environments in an I&E role

•

Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation

•

Familiarity with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems

•

Experience working in a surface mining or mineral processing facility a strong asset

•

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems in a fast-paced environment

•

Valid driver’s license required

Education

•

High School Diploma Required

•

Technical diploma, journeyman, or associate degree in electrical/instrumentation field preferred

Criteria/Conditions:

•

While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and potentially work on elevated platforms.

•

May be required to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday

•

Personal protective equipment is required when performing this position. The work is an outdoor mine setting which requires hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, protective clothing, gloves and other protective equipment as required by law

•

Successfully complete background check and maintain a valid USA driver’s license

•

Golden Vertex is a drug/alcohol free work environment using mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per all applicable laws

•

This work is in a mine and plant setting which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
