The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.

The Survey Instrument Operator plays a crucial role in executing field geomatics tasks, ensuring precision, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. They operate and maintain advanced geomatics equipment, support data collection, and collaborate closely with the Geomatics Field Manager to meet project objectives.

+ Set up, operate, maintain, and calibrate Geomatics equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, digital levels, and Grade control systems. + Perform layout tasks, stakeouts, and perform preliminary checks per project specifications.

Required Skills And Competencies Qualifications: Non-Exempt

Experience:

+ At least 2 years of hands-on experience in construction Geomatics, demonstrating ability in using Geomatics tools, including Grade control systems on civil projects.

Technical Skills:

+ Fundamental understanding of Geomatics software and equipment. + Ability to perform basic Geomatics calculations and understand field data collection processes.
