Information Technology Intern - Texas A&M

Summer 2025 Information Technology Internship positions: SAP Technical, Infrastructure, Operations Technology Solutions, Application Development, Business Intelligence, and GIS.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Application Development:* Development of new software applications; modify and enhance existing software and applications for clients within expected time, quality and completion metrics

SAP Technical:* Active participation in scoping and design exercises as part of the development, basis, and security teams

Infrastructure:* Intern will be assigned a project under one of the following disciplines: Cybersecurity, Networking/Telecommunications, Enterprise Systems Administration, Operations Systems Administration, End-User Services

GIS:* Ability to digitize, process, and manage GIS data using ESRI products

Operations Technology:* Data Integration: Collaborate with the data engineering team to acquire, cleanse, and integrate data from various sources into our data infrastructure

Business Intelligence:* Build data connections and supports report developers with data access according to security practices

Qualifications: General:* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.

Application Development/SAP Technical/Operations Technology/GIS:* Preferred: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, .NET, #C, and familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)

Education Requirements:* Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related field.
