This position will have a global remit and will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of ChampionX global gas processing business.

What You Will Do:
•Conduct regional technical assessments (TSA) in gas processing plants.
•Scope regional growth opportunities.
•Managing centralized technical support and troubleshooting efforts including travel, field visits, and gas process modeling to support strategic business growth as the subject matter expert in chemistry and field applications.
•Manage a technology license and associated business.
•Supports the roll out and deployment of new ChampionX innovations and technologies in strategic growth regions.
•Conduct technical training internally and with customers as needed.
•Ensure a safe work environment, promotes a safety culture and actively works to achieve goal zero. Promptly reports every incident, near miss, or injury to leader as soon as feasibly possible.
•The Industry Technical Consultant will stay current with customer issues and advise on technology trends
•Will also be accountable for working with Product Line Managers and RD&E to communicate technology needs and advise on development of new offerings.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields
•10 years industry experience in oil and gas with deep knowledge of chemical applications
•Previous experience and success bringing new technologies to trial and commercialization
•Previous experience and proficiency in gas modeling or a similar capability
•Ability to travel 50% or more for field and customer interaction
•No sponsorship is available for this role
Physical Demands:
•Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
•Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
•15+ years of work experience in the Chemical industry
