ABOUT THE ROLE . . .
Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians are paid $43.34 per hour plus daily overtime pay and a quarterly bonus. Our EMT's earned over 100k last year. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and update all plant equipment. This includes both mechanical and electrical machine maintenance and repairs. This job requires a strong electrical background but also the necessity to weld, complete light fabrication, rigging, lifting, and mechanical repairs to equipment. The applicant must be flexible from crane repair to heat treat and conveyance systems. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot PLC’s, HMI’s, PID, VFD’s, control circuits along with all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, facilities systems, and mechanical equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
•Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic and mechanical equipment
•Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
•Utilize low voltage testing equipment and hand tools to diagnose issues
•Repair or replace faulty components or parts
•Follow schematics and technical manuals to complete repairs
•Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues
•Provide technical support to customers or end-users
•Repair and maintain electric, diesel and LP industrial trucks following manuals.
•Repair and adjust, using hand tools, conveyor systems.
•Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment following blueprints and specifications.
•Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment and pneumatic tools.
•Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoist, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
•Lubricate and clean parts.
•Align machines and equipment and assemble machines. Bolt, weld, rivet and otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures.
•Weld metal components together to fabricate and repair products using brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
EXPERIENCE WE NEED FROM YOU . . .
•5 years industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
•Strong knowledge of electronics principles and concepts and troubleshooting
•Proficient in using hand tools for equipment repair
•Mechanical knowledge for disassembling and reassembling devices
•Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
•Basic understanding of computer networking concepts
•Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
•Read ladder logic and electrical prints
•Lock Out Tag Out Exposure
•Conveyors and large moving equipment exposure a plus
•Knowledge of piping, hydraulics and welding.
