- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, lubrication, mechanical precision inspection and adjustment, pneumatic and other related basic knowledge; Familiar with equipment overhaul requirements and procedures; Familiar with the structure and working principle of various power mechanical equipment; understands the hydraulic and pneumatic systems, understand the electrical control system of equipment.
- Check, supervise, control and guide the use and op of equipment.
-Solve the major problems in equipment operation, make timely analysis and decision to ensure the normal and smooth operation of production.
- Guide the equipment maintenance work and propose the purchase plan of spare parts.
- Propose equipment maintenance overhaul plan and cost control plan, implement effective control in the production process .
- Cooperate with other department to maintain and manage related equipment.
- Responsible for plant equipment use safety management, regular inspection, timely take measures to eliminate all kinds of hidden dangers.
- Participate in the selection of fact equipment, cooperation with the factory to accept, install and debug the newly purchased equipment.
- High school diploma or above, bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- More than 3 years working experience in equipment maintenance and repair in metal processing plant (experience in pipe manufacturing plant is preferred).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks modeling software, reading and modification.
- Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently without close supervision, team player.
- Strong work ethic to do the job to the best of his ability while maintaining high standards of business ethics.
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
- Able to lift 25 pounds, repeatedly/continuously, occasionally lifting and moving over 50 pounds (with assistance).
- Must be able to lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with team assistance or mechanical aid.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods (8 to 12-hour shifts).
- Regular bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in awkward or confined positions.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to handle small components and operate precision machinery.
- Ability to push/pull carts, pallets, or heavy components as part of the material handling process.
- Ability to climb ladders or access platforms for equipment maintenance or inspection when necessary.
- Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to noise, and occasional exposure to vibration, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures (both hot and cold).
- You must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat).
