Key Responsibilities:
•The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing ALL equipment used on location.
•The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems commonly found in oil and gas equipment.
•Play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment that drives the overall success of ASOG.
•Interact with ASOG Team Members, other on-site service providers and customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
•Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
•Promote a safety-conscious culture within the team.
•Assist with rigging up and rigging down of equipment.
•Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of preventative and routine maintenance.
•Help drive achievement of Operational KPI’s.
•Be willing and flexible to travel to various locations as required by the job.
•Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Sr. Operations Manager.
Requirements:
•Able to read, speak and write English.
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Relevant technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
•Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
•Must be able and willing to work long hours and weekly schedules that may not be uniform.
•Anticipated 14 on/14 off schedule, but willing to be flexible based on project schedules.
•Knowledge of industrial gearboxes, chains, conveyers, bearings, & mechanical pumps
•Knowledge of 12VDC & 24VDC
•Familiar with 480VAC motors & circuits
•Familiar with troubleshooting & programming VFDs
•Knowledge of PLC languages & programming
•Knowledge of setting up communications (serial & ethernet)
•Previous field Mechanic experience in a frac setting preferred.
•Knowledge of frac fleet equipment and operations preferred.
•Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
•Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
•May be required to walk for long distances, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb or balance to reach high places.
•Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
•Willingness to travel and work in different environments.
•Proficient with software programs including Word, Excel, Teams and able to effectively communicate via Teams and email.
•Must possess good hearing and vision as needed for work and safety compliance.
•Noise level could be moderate to very loud at times.
•Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments is required.
•Strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty.
•Dependable, reliable, and capable of fulfilling responsibilities, as assigned.
