Key Responsibilities:
•
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing ALL equipment used on location.
•
The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems commonly found in oil and gas equipment.
•
Play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment that drives the overall success of ASOG.
•
Interact with ASOG Team Members, other on-site service providers and customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
•
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
•
Promote a safety-conscious culture within the team.
•
Assist with rigging up and rigging down of equipment.
•
Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of preventative and routine maintenance.
•
Help drive achievement of Operational KPI’s.
•
Be willing and flexible to travel to various locations as required by the job.
•
Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Sr. Operations Manager.
Requirements:
•
Able to read, speak and write English.
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Relevant technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
•
Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
•
Must be able and willing to work long hours and weekly schedules that may not be uniform.
•
Anticipated 14 on/14 off schedule, but willing to be flexible based on project schedules.
•
Knowledge of industrial gearboxes, chains, conveyers, bearings, & mechanical pumps
•
Knowledge of 12VDC & 24VDC
•
Familiar with 480VAC motors & circuits
•
Familiar with troubleshooting & programming VFDs
•
Knowledge of PLC languages & programming
•
Knowledge of setting up communications (serial & ethernet)
•
Previous field Mechanic experience in a frac setting preferred.
•
Knowledge of frac fleet equipment and operations preferred.
•
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
•
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
•
May be required to walk for long distances, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb or balance to reach high places.
•
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
•
Willingness to travel and work in different environments.
•
Proficient with software programs including Word, Excel, Teams and able to effectively communicate via Teams and email.
•
Must possess good hearing and vision as needed for work and safety compliance.
•
Noise level could be moderate to very loud at times.
•
Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments is required.
•
Strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty.
•
Dependable, reliable, and capable of fulfilling responsibilities, as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
