Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician professional to join our team at Electralloy/G. O. Carlson Inc. located in Oil City, PA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electrician maintenance and mechanics, with a working understanding of electrical controls systems, HMIs, PLCs and be capable of completing special electrical maintenance projects. The successful candidate will continually learn the facilities processes and ensure compliance with regulations for OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. The candidate is required to take and pass a Journey-Level Ramsey Electrician Test.

This s an hourly position and the candidate must be willing to work all shifts, including overtime. In addition, the candidate will review OEM manuals and perform and/or develop recommended preventative electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications.

- Read and interpret schematics to facilitate the repair of complex systems.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

- along with various other responsibilities

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.

- Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their applications in a manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience as an industrial electrician is preferred, with a solid understanding of electrical principles.
