This position will oversee the installation, monitoring and maintenance of our industrial equipment. This position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Troubleshoot and maintain engines, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment and production-related equipment.
- Work with specialty suppliers for quotations on parts, repair and manage execution.
- Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Work with facility managers to continually update the production process and system software.
- Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
- Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications.
- Maintain parts and tools inventory.
- Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis and trends.
- Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Advanced technical or college training preferred.
- Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
