Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing
Little Rock, AR| $26.50–$30.00/hr + Bonus + OT | Full-Time | On-Site
Are you an experienced electrician who’s worked in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments?
At AluChem, we’re looking for someone who can wire a panel, troubleshoot a VFD, and isn’t afraid to turn a wrench when needed. Our plant runs 24/7, and we need a dependable electrician who can keep things moving — safely and efficiently.
Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing Responsibilities:
•
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and control systems (motors, sensors, switches, transformers, VFDs, etc.)
•
Install and modify conduit, wiring, breaker panels, and controls per NEC codes
•
Read and interpret schematics, one-line diagrams, blueprints, and control drawings
•
Work with PLCs (primarily Siemens and Honeywell) and field instrumentation
•
Perform mechanical repairs (motors, bearings, belts, pumps) as part of the maintenance team
•
Use Fluke meters, meggers, and diagnostic tools for calibration and troubleshooting
•
Operate forklifts or other industrial equipment as needed
•
Participate in rotating on-call support for after-hours maintenance issues
Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing Requirements:
•
Minimum 2years’ experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Electrician
•
Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, controls, and safety procedures
•
Hands-on experience with 480V systems, motor control circuits, and industrial automation
•
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with basic equipment repairs
•
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
•
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred but not required)
•
Must be safety-minded, reliable, and team-oriented
