Summary:

Provide system design for water and wastewater control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design small to medium-sized projects (Wiring Diagrams, Panel Layout, Bill of Materials, etc.)

- Complete a project within the deadline given with basic assistance by others.

- Prepare Complete Submittal Package for Engineer approval (Cutsheets, Sequence of operations, wiring diagrams, etc.)

- After Design Approval: Compile components list for Ordering Depart.

- Provide all required documentation to Panel Shop for panel construction.

- Track project submittal status with Jetco’s project tracking software.

- Complete Operations and Maintenance Manuals, plus assist completing for higher tier personnel if necessary.

- Complete UL508A paperwork, plus assist completing for higher tier personnel as necessary.

Working Conditions:

- Designing at computer workstation at Jetco Office location.

- May be required to visit jobsites during the design phase as needed.

Supervision Received:

- Receives Job assignments and deadlines from Director of System Engineering.

Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

- 1 to 2 years of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software.

- Minimal knowledge of the Water / Waste Water Controls Industry.

Education Requirements:

- 2-year Associate degree in Automation related field or equivalent experience

Required Skills:

- MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive) & Adobe Acrobat Software

- Basic understanding of Electrical Theory and Safety / PLC Control logic and Motor Control Logic.

- Effective communication with Customers/Engineers/Contractors (Face-to-Face, Phone, and Email)

- Reading and understand of Engineer Specifications and Plan Sheets & device technical manuals.

- General knowledge of UL 508A and UL698A requirements
