About This Job

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Supervisor at our GM Wentzville Assembly Center, located in Wentzville, MO. The Industrial Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for the quality of work and safety of personnel/subcontractors while performing routine and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at the host facility.

Shift Details:

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

•

Develops TIS’ and reviews safety documents with the crew routinely; evaluates safety hazards on the job and enforces procedures and PPE use.

•

Evaluates employees on quality and safety.

•

Provides work direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.

•

Acts as a customer/client liaison.

•

Prepares job reports as directed by the site manager, regional manager and/or customer.

•

Creates recommendations on equipment purchases, hiring, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

•

Receive and stow materials and supplies received.

•

Actively engages with daily work with a solid understanding of company practices and protocols including the collective bargaining agreement for UAW employees, non-union employment manual for exempt staff.

•

Partners with site leadership and the labor relations staff, handle first step grievance; present discipline and recommend termination of employment when appropriate.

•

Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pull out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.

•

Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits,

•

Conveyor Audits, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

•

Three years of supervisory experience.

•

One year of industry related experience.

•

High School diploma.

•

Must be able to pass a background check.

•

Must be able to pass a drug test.

•

Must have knowledge of equipment and PPE used on the job site.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
