Job Overview:

TESCO Nighthawk provides wireless AMI solutions for the utility industry. We currently serve over 55 different utilities with our Adaptiv remote reading platform delivering electricity, water, and gas consumption billing data. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Software Developer to oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate will be technical, software driven and have proven success in managing multiple areas for maximum productivity. TESCO Nighthawk is a fast-paced environment where the ideal candidate is a self-starter and will possess a strong entrepreneurial, can-do spirit. Travel is typically not required nor anticipated.

Position Responsibilities:

- Utilize strong skills in C#, .Net, C, C++.

- Support all source code used by factory for provisioning meters written in C#.

- Provide support to all factory personnel responsible for manufactured products.

- Support OTA code and process used to download new firmware code.

- Migrate hardware data to databases, matching client, and inventory, and facilitate transfer and functionality with web applications.

- Work with QA on testing as needed.

- Follow Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- Create and maintain all labels written using T-FORM

- Work with developers when new products need to be incorporated into the current system.

- Creation of new Encrypt keys and passwords in database tables for new clients.

- Utilize version control using Git.

- Follow Test-Driven Development, employing unit testing methodologies with Moq.

- Support callbacks used by carriers for Receiving, Delivery, Activations, ODI in IIS.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field

- 4 years of experience or more as a Software Developer in C# or .NET Developer

- Strong skills in C, C++, C#, .Net

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, and relational databases.

- Experience with Git version control and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Moq) required.
