Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In live in Home Caregiver(with room and board provided) to provide essential support to an elderly man with a heart condition who is on oxygen. . This role involves assisting client with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing his quality of life. It is possible that two people be hired so they can have time off and switch places and provide relief to the other.

Responsibilities

•

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

•

Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

•

Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.

•

Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior.

•

Maintain a clean and safe living environment for client

•

Take care of hygiene

•

Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

•

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required

•

Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.

•

Familiarity with social work principles is a plus.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

•

A caring attitude towards individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.

•

Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.

•

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,800.00 - $6,000.00 per month
