Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and possess the skills necessary to support clients with various needs, including those with autism, dementia, and other health challenges.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.

•

Support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.

•

Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals.

•

Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.

•

Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and well-being.

•

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

•

Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.

Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

Experience in home care settings.

Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients.

Knowledge of working with individuals on the autism spectrum.

Strong patient observation skills for monitoring health changes.

•

Experience providing direct support and personal assistance.

Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques.

Understanding of dementia care practices.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.

•

Proficiency in medication administration protocols.

Skills in memory care strategies to assist clients effectively.
