Job Objective:
Directs and manages staff in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power and utility systems, to ensure a safe,
comfortable, operating environment.
- Identifies current and future electrical requirements by establishing a rapport with management, engineering, production personnel, technicians, and other persons in a position to understand electrical requirements.
- Ensures production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of electricity.
- Supports product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans, discussing equipment needs and modifications, coordinating activities of electrician and other workers.
- Directs electrical operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Directs and supervises electrical, instrument, analyzer, air conditioning, and heating repairs.

- Actively support and contribute to the company’s mission and vision through reliable, high-quality work
- Eight (8) years minimum experience required in oil and gas plant and field electrical maintenance.
- Specialized knowledge of high voltage electricity, power stations, switch gear, and safety training.
- Able to travel and may be required to stay overnight for certain task and projects.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Required working knowledge of Program Logic Controllers (PLC) and flow computers.
- Ability to read and understand Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Working knowledge of variable speed drives for electrical motors.
- Working knowledge of electronic or pneumatic control valves.
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Work requires an educational background normally acquired through a high school education with course work in skilled crafts, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
