I&E Technician

Job Overview:

Ratliff Electric has an immediate opening for a highly motivated I & E Technician in our Midland office. Technicians will be expected to terminate, commission, and troubleshoot PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s, and associated end devices. Minor programming changes to PLC’s and HMI’s. Maintain 120-volt control circuits, transformers, relays, and other electrical equipment related to the oil industry. Technicians will be expected to oversee a crew of two, including paperwork for time keeping and invoicing.

Requirements:

- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision and a “Team Player”.

- Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

- Must have a working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes.

- Must be able to work in direct sunlight, at night and inclement weather conditions.

- Must be physically able to do all assigned tasks that relate to electrical work.

- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

- Must pass pre-employment drug test.

- Minimum of two years related work experience required.
