Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical, emotional, or developmental conditions that affect their ability to perform daily activities. This role requires a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and a commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
•Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
•Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities and independence.
•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
•Educate patients and their families about treatment options and strategies for improvement.
•Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
•Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
•Utilize various tools and technologies, including MicroStation, Ohmmeter, PCB, Surface mount technology, MATLAB, Schematics, Vision inspection systems, and C++ as needed in therapy sessions.
Qualifications
•A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
•Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
•Experience with mechanical engineering or electrical engineering concepts is a plus.
•Familiarity with therapeutic tools such as vision inspection systems and surface mount technology is preferred.
•Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MATLAB and C++ beneficial for data analysis and reporting.
•Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
•A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
