I&C Supervisor of Instruction

About the role:

As a I&C Supervisor you will you will support the new generation of reactors including the AP1000® and the operating fleet from all over the world.

You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager and be located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Cranberry Township, PA or Madison, PA

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify Westinghouse gaps and work with the BU/APX/OPX as appropriate to implement closure plans to position Westinghouse for future commercial opportunities based on priority of customer needs.

- Update, maintain and implement training department processes.

- Design, development and implementation training courses of I&C training.

- Evaluate customer requests/needs and support reviews of training offers for proper scope consistency of scope and pricing. Coordinate all phases of training projects from scope definition through training closeout and potential follow-up business opportunities.

- Follow-up I&C instructors growth (training and qualification process)

- Work with Project Managers

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for new I&C instructors

- Lead projects turnover to the instructor resources for successful execution of training deliverables

- Develop strategic training opportunities to maintain instructor proficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Successful completion of United State Navy Nuclear Operator Program or a licensed Commercial Reactor Operator

- Minimum 6 years of applicable experience

Beneficial:

- Experience with Nuclear training procedures, INPO documents and NRC regulations

- Knowledge of PWR power plants

- Knowledge of electronic data storage

- Experience with Systematic Approach to Training

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
