Supervisor I is responsible for performing multiple essential functions, including control room operations, supervise and control the safe and cost-efficient operation of the Hayden Concentrator, Crushers, Flotation, Filter Plant, and Tailings Disposal facilities. To ensure the cost-effective production and economic recovery of copper from Hayden Slag.

- Monitors and adjusts unit controls to ensure safe and efficient operating
- Responds to equipment alerts and communicates with operator to inspect the

- Coordinates activities and sets priorities with
- Direct the activities of assigned crew and monitor their progress
- Meet production targets through efforts of the crew following process parameters and strategies
- Ensure the crew follows the cost-control strategies
- Enforce safe practices, ensure safe conditions, and promote a safe attitude among crew members
- Comply with environmental requirements and promote environmental awareness among crew members
- Keep time worked and enter on-line system
- Inspects machines and equipment for hazards, operating efficiency, and mechanical
- Administer the provision of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Must be proficient with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel MS Project, and MS
- Knowledge and experience with crushing, grinding, classifier, flotation, filter plant dewatering, and tailing thickening, pumping and deposition activites.
- Strong interpersonal skills in developing consensus
- Applicant must have good communications skills (oral and written).
- Requires the ability to manage multiple
- Knowledge of SAP and Kronos software is a
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and
- Must be able to work rotating shifts and holidays (24/7/365 operation)
- The job requires training or instruction in Environmental
- This job requires training or instruction in Safety & Health awareness including completion of the appropriate OSHA/MSHA
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college or technical school education preferred
- Must have prior process/supervisory experience of (3) three years in a copper processing facility.
- Prior concentrator experience desirable
