Hydrovac Operator

Job Summary:

As a Hydrovac Operator with Tuc’s Contracting, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Shoring installation

- Utility Locates

- Trenching

- Tank Cleaning

- Debris removal and tank cleanouts

- Piling holes and pole holes

- Dewatering

- Small pipe flushing

- Sump cleanouts

- Equipment cleaning (with or without chemical)

- Hydrotesting

You will actively participate in all safety initiatives, perform pre/post inspections on vehicles, pumps, equipment, tools, etc., and complete billing and time cards.

Qualifications:

- Class 3 Driver’s license

- Clean 5 Year driver’s abstract/commercial driver’s abstract

- Minimum 5 years’ hydrovac experience required

- Proficiency in reading, writing and understanding English

- First Aid, CSTS, and OSSA, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space Entry, Confined Monitoring, Fall Arrest, required

- Must be able to access major oilsands sites (no site bans)
