HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities Include:

- Install, test, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration units.

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Replace filters, clean coils, and perform other necessary maintenance tasks to extend the life of HVAC systems.

- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.

- Provide accurate troubleshooting reports and determine the root cause of system failures.

- Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain HVAC issues, repairs, and recommendations.

- Provide advice and guidance to customers on energy-saving tips, system upgrades, and maintenance best practices.

- Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards when working with HVAC equipment.

- Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and hours worked.

- Work with other team members and departments as needed for large-scale installations or service projects.

- Assist in training apprentices or less experienced technicians as needed.

Requirements:

- 5+ years' of experience in HVAC service work.

- Commercial HVAC experience preferred.

- Good character and ability to work with a team and our customers.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Neat, clean and organized.

- Great work ethic.
